In 2006 the Harris family closed the last of the 4 stores. Rosemary and John Swedrock reopened the store in Penfield on Route 250 in February 2006. Rosy was a manager for 10 years. She has the knowledge and the love of the company, to keep Joseph Harris’ dream alive.

Rosy and John still carry many of the products Harris customers expect to find such as Harris Seeds, Turfline Fertilizer, Ortho, Bonide, Espoma products,  ProMix soils, a large assortment of seed starting supplies, Nutrena Bird food, many lines of  bird feeders and accessories, house plants and a great gift department.

The large assortment of annuals and vegetables are the best in the area. We always look close to home to support the local growers, and for the different and unusual.  The selection of the seeds and plants are unsurpassed in the market.

Some feel that their visit to the store isn’t complete with out giving Annie the cat a scratch behind the ears. If you hear the story, Rosy and John had to buy the store to bring Annie back home. She is a special cat that the customers have come to recognize and love.
